SULFUR SOAP

Dear all,

Here you are a sulfur soap made out with anorganic sulfur.
What you can buy as organic sulfur is a white powder, which has little to do with the yellow sulfur we all know.
On soaps anorganic sulfur ist what is being used. There is also te possibility to buy liquid sulfur, but I do not know how it works.

When making sulfur soap it is very important to use a mask and to avoid that the sulfur has direct contact with the lye, as the fumes originated from this mixture can be very toxic.

The most secure way is to add the sulfure powder in the melted oils. I have added 10% of sulfure to the melted oils and once they were well mixed, I poured the lye.

Sulfure makes very soft soaps, this is why it would be good if you use hard oils to make your soap.
The recipe for my soap in CP is as follows:
Hallo ihr Lieben,

25% olive oil
15% sesam oil

12,5% coconut oil
12,5% sheabutter
10% rice bran oil
10% murumurubutter
10% babassu
5% cocoa butter
superfat: 10%

Method: CP
Fragrance: NONE

Sulfur soap is great for acne, sebhorrheic demartitis and rosacea,.See the below link fyi
